Before installing
- Is Pads Ambiente free?
- Yes. The download is free and there are pads available at no cost — with all 24 keys already included, major and minor. The PRO subscription opens the full library and the stage features. Pricing and trial period appear inside the app and vary by country.
- Does the app show ads?
- No, and it never will. Pads Ambiente shows no third-party advertising at any point, not even on the free tier — there is no ad network in the app at all. This is a commitment, not a stage we are passing through: a pad is the sound bed of a worship service, and an ad in the middle of ministry breaks the moment for the whole church. What free users see are the app’s own invitations to try PRO, and those stop with a subscription.
- Is there an iPhone version?
- Today the app is available for Android. The iPhone version is in preparation — when it ships, it will appear here and on the App Store.
- Do I need any special equipment?
- No. A phone and a 3.5mm cable to the mixing desk are enough. No laptop, no audio interface and no in-ear monitors required.
- What languages is the app available in?
- Portuguese, English and Spanish. The app follows the device language and lets you switch in settings.
During the service
- Does it work without internet?
- Yes. Download the pads once and they play offline, in any key. Once downloaded, nothing depends on the network — not changing keys, not setlists.
- Does the sound stop when I lock the screen?
- No. The app is built to survive the system: with a pad playing you can lock the screen, switch apps or pocket the phone. If it stops on your device, it is the manufacturer battery optimization — set the app to "unrestricted" in the battery settings.
- Can I use it on my church live stream?
- Yes. The license allows use in services, rehearsals, live performances and streams from your church, as well as recording songs with the pad in the background. What is not allowed is reselling the audio or publishing it as a track on streaming services.
Account and subscription
- Can I use my own audio files?
- Yes, with Custom Pads, which is part of the PRO plan. It accepts WAV, MP3, AAC, FLAC and OGG, and mapping covers all 24 keys in a single Pad Set.
- I changed phones. Do I lose my subscription?
- No. Sign in with the same store account and the app restores the subscription on its own. If it does not, use the restore purchases option on the subscription screen.
- How do I cancel the subscription?
- Through your app store account settings, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancelling after that window means the next renewal is charged.
