How do I start using pads at church from scratch?
Short answer. Start free, with one pad, on one song. No investment, no extra rehearsal and no change to how the team already plays.
A pad is the production tool with the lowest barrier to entry available to a worship team. Unlike tracks, it changes nothing about what the band already does.
Week 1 — one song
Pick one song from the repertoire, preferably a slow one. Find the key, start the pad at the beginning and leave it running to the end.
That is all. Nobody has to rehearse anything differently.
Week 2 — the transitions
Now do not stop the pad between songs: tap the next song’s key. This is where the team really notices the difference — the service stops having holes in it.
Week 3 — the whole service
Extend it to the opening, to prayer and to ministry. During ministry, use a neutral pad at very low volume.
Week 4 — organize
Once it feels natural, build the list with a pad and key per song. Operation then stops depending on whoever is holding the phone.
What it costs
You can start without paying anything: there are free pads, and on them all 24 keys are already available — major and minor. The paid plan opens the full library and the stage features, but none of that is needed for the first Sunday.

Who operates it
